Certifications/Journeyman Upgrades
Rigging Class: We will be holding a rigging certification class coming up, it will start August 10th and go through the 15th, the written will be August 14th, the hands on will be August 15th. The class will be held from 7am to 5:30 Monday through Friday, Saturday will be dependent on how many sign up. Class will be limited to the first 16 that sign up. Deadline to sign up will be July 16th. Must have a minimum of 4 to hold the class.

Application Deadline: The current application deadline is July 31st, 2026. If you happen to know anyone that is interested in the apprenticeship, please have them go to ualocal776.com and click on the apply tab. There is no fee to submit an application.
UA Weld Test: Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 8 A.M.
Please call Melissa no later than noon the Thursday before to sign up and to check on the status of the test session.

1. Go to – www.ua.org
2. Click on Members
3. Login – if first time user, create your member access account.
4. Login is your card number; also enter your password to login.
5. After login go to My Smart Profile (tabs at top)
6. Go to Certifications
7. Go to UA Certifications
8. Clicking here will show all your certifications which are active and/or expired.
