  • Charles Joseph "Chick" Spicer Sr. 82 of New Straitsville passed away Sunday June 27, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born March 2, 1939, in Shawnee, a son of the late Frank and Marguerite (Fuchs) Spicer. Chick was a pipe fitter and member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union 776 Lima, Ohio; he was a U.S. Army Veteran; he enjoyed rooting for the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes; he was a regular at the Spicer Brothers Wednesday Night Card game; he had a tremendous sense of humor and assisted Rosie with her landscaping. He is survived by his wife Rosie Mae Babbs Spicer; his children Charles J. (Kimberly) Spicer Jr., Theodore S. (Bonnie) Spicer and Diana R. (Kevin) Ackley; his brother Ellis "Jell" Spicer; grandchildren Holly Spicer, Heather (Mark) Casperson, Hannah Spicer and Brooke Ackley; great grandchildren Tenley and Savannah; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son Timothy W. Spicer; sister Catherine Daugherty; brothers Frank "Pete", John, William "Bill", and David "Ben" Spicer. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday July 2, 2021, at the New Straitsville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Lee Tabor officiating. Interment: Salem Cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking County Combined Honor Guard.   • Randy Joe Dickerson, 66 of Elliott County passed away at his home July 28th, 2021. Randy was born March 29, 1955 at Ashland, KY, the son of the late Charles E. and Emogene Howard Dickerson. He was a welder, a member of Local 776 as well as a member of Hepburn Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois Wilson Dickerson. Son, Stacey Joe Dickerson,  a brother, Earl Beecher ”Dickie” Dickerson. He is also survived by his world, Alyssa Jo.   • Mark A. Rinehart, age 62, passed at 9:29 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at St. Rita's Mercy Health. He was born April 20, 1959 in Lima, Ohio to the late Robert J. and Regina Anne (Ball) Rinehart. Mr. Rinehart was a pipefitter with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 776 of Lima and a member of the Pipefitters Union. In his younger years he enjoyed working on cars. He loved the outdoors and going camping with his family. He also helped the community while serving with the Wapakoneta Jayces for several years. He is survived by his 4 children - Bartholomew 'Bart' Rinehart of Celina; Joshua R. Rinehart of Wapakoneta; Shauna (Vince) Volpe of Columbus, Ohio; Amanda Rinehart of Wapakoneta; 5 grandchildren - Ayanna, Aaliyah, Jordan, Jacob, and Vail; a brother - Brett (Karen) Rinehart of Maple Grove, MN; 2 sisters - Beverly Duff of Celina and Bonita Rinehart. He was preceded in death by a brother - Bruce Rinehart, a brother-in-law - Karl Duff, and a sister-in-law Judy Rinehart.   • Rodney L. Hughes, age 61, passed away January 7, 2022, at 8:43 am, at the Lima Memorial Health System. Rodney was born April 24, 1960, in Lima, OH, to Thomas H. and Donna S. Hughes who preceded him in death. On February 9, 2012, he married Lisa M. Makley Hughes who survives in Lakeview.

    Rodney attended Allen East High School. He spent his career as a Pipefitter with Local #776. He belonged to the Indian Lake Moose Lodge and the Indian Lake Eagles. Rodney enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and good karaoke. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

    In addition to his wife, Rodney is survived by his children: Gregory Hughes of Lakeview, OH and Lindsey (Nicholas) Tomlinson of Tega Cay, SC, 3 grandchildren: Lorelai, Adler and Cecily, 4 siblings: Rhonda (Kent) Zimmerly of Lakeview, OH, Mark Hughes of Lima, OH, Thomas Michael (Tammy) Hughes of Lima, OH and Quintin (Carey Nichols) Hughes of Bluffton, OH.

    There will be visitation held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 2-8 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.   • Walter H. “Wally” Kincaid, Jr., 72, of Lima passed away at 7:38 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born on April 10, 1949 in Lima, to Walter H. “Hig” Kincaid, Sr. and Rose Florence D’Amico, who both preceded him in death. On April 18, 1970, he married the love of his life, Peggy J. Clum, who survives in Lima. Wally was a pipefitter with Local Union 776 for 28 years. After which he purchased a Comfort Keepers franchise in 1999 and retired from that in June 2019 to pursue his favorite role as a son, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His hobbies included golfing, bowling, fishing, shooting pool, cooking, woodworking and entertaining everyone. He was truly a “jack of all trades”. He was a graduate of Shawnee High School, Class of 1968. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Westside United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 96, VFW Post 1275, Eagle’s Aerie 370, Elks Lodge 54, Moose Lodge 199, Lima Lodge 205 F&AM, the Board of Senior Citizens and was an Eagle Scout mentor. Wally was never without a smile and a quick witted ornery joke. He never met a stranger and there was never a dull moment when he was around. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 51 years, Peggy are his daughters Angie (Gregg Burgoon) Hickman of Lima and April (Robert Lizotte) Kincaid of Marysville; his five grandchildren Jonathan (Rima) Hickman, Katie (Cory) Simmons, Jase Hickman, McKena Hickman and Robert G. Lizotte and great-grandson Caden Simmons; his brother John (Wendy) Kincaid of Cridersville; his sisters Gina (Doug) Sanners of Ft. Myers, FL and Pam (Denise Maynard (d)) Cockerell of Valparaiso, IN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Marc A. Kincaid; son-in-law Jim Hickman; brother-in-law Jerry L.   • William “Bill” Ernest Darst, 86 of Lima, passed away March 1, 2022, at 8:55 am, at Otterbein Cridersville. Bill was born January 16, 1936 in Middleport, OH, to David and Clara Mae (Hamilton) Darst, who preceded him in death. He married Norma Willis Darst, who passed away. On June 27, 1992 he married Mary Ann (Kistner) Kinstle-Darst, who survives him in Lima. Bill was a 1953 graduate of Middleport High and went on to further his education at The Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1957. He started as a school teacher in Pleasantville, Ohio, taught music at Perry and later worked for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 776; he retired in 1998. Bill was a wonderful musician. He was 1st Trumpet in The Ohio State Marching Band, 1st Chair Trumpet in the Lima Symphony Orchestra and he won many state awards playing trumpet in high school. Bill played trumpet in a popular band, Penjendrum, for 13 years back in the 70s and 80s. He enjoyed ballroom dancing for many years; that is how he met his wife, Mary Ann, whom he adored. Bill was the owner of a Dairy Queen in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, he was an avid golfer who golfed in many leagues and he loved to watch all sports, especially Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns, but never the State Up North. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Jeffrey Darst, Barbara (Greg) Moreland and Lara Darst; step-children, Rebecca (Bill) Bailey, Craig (Anna) Kinstle, Robert (Sandy) Kinstle and Linda (Tony) Raterman; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.   • Patrick D. Rohrbach, 64, of St. Marys, OH (formerly of Wapakoneta, OH) died at 7:15 p.m. Friday July 8, 2022 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys. He was born March 29, 1958 in St. Marys, OH to Virgil and Victoria (Greve) Rohrbach. Survivors include: son Travis Rohrbach of Toledo, OH, son Shane Rohrbach of Bellefontaine, OH, granddaughter Spohia Rohrbach, sister Deb Weaks of St. Marys, OH,sister Cindy Gray of Celina, OH, sister Andrea (Michael) Eberle of St. Marys, OH and sister-in-law Deb Rohrbach of St. Marys, OH Preceded in death by: parents Virgil and Victoria Rohrbach; son Nicholas Raver; daughter Shiloh Rohrbach; brother Steve Rohrbach; brother Neil Rohrbach; brother-in-law Robert Weaks; brother-in-law Richard Gray He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1976). He had been an employee of Huffy Bicycle Mfg. Co. in Celina, OH and St. Marys Foundry Co., prior to retiring from Plumbers and Pipefitters Service Technicians Union Local # 776 in Lima, OH. An avid biker, he "lived to ride" his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Always concerned for the safety of bikers, he was a charter member of ABATE of Ohio (Region 3). He also truly enjoyed spending time with his friends and being a father. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday July 15, 2022 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E.   • Terry Lee Steele, 65, passed away on July 10, 2022, at his residence. Terry was born on November 2, 1956 in Lima, Ohio, to Vernon L. and Joyce (Mobley) Steele. Terry was a graduate of the Lima Senior Adult Education Program. He was also a member of the Plumbers-Pipefitters Local Union 776. Terry was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. He loved to golf, fish, and cooking, especially for family cookouts. He is survived by his children, Terry Steele Jr., Jody (Scott) Shaw, Brandy Steele, and Katie Steele; mother of his children, Cheryl Morlock; grandchildren, Jessica, Kaylynn, Jayden, Carli (Trent), Jewel, Kayleb, Olivia, Kennedy, Elijah, and Kaliyah; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Avalynn, and Austin Jr.; and his siblings, John Steele, Rick Steele, and Donna (David) Williams.   • Phillip W. "Phil" Stauffer, age 80, was called into the presence of the Lord at 5:18 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System. Phil was born January 21, 1942 in Lima, OH, to the late Cloyne W. and Florence E. (Lusk) Stauffer. Phil proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2009 from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #776. Phil enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid golfer. He was a racing fan, especially of NASCAR and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his two sons, Brent (Dionne) Stauffer of Crestview, FL and Craig A. (Patty) Stauffer of Lima; five grandchildren, Justin Andrew Stauffer of Fort Myers, FL, Ian Wesley (Danielle) Stauffer of Anchorage, AK, Tyler Stauffer of Lima, Cody Stauffer of MS and Emily Stauffer of Panama City, FL; one great grandson, Clark Wesley Stauffer of Anchorage AK; Sister, Sandi L.   • William “Bill,” Wetmore, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 7:16 am., surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on November 11, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of George and Ruth (Hohman) Wetmore, his parents are both deceased. On October 9, 1982, he was married to Patricia Barnett Ritchie, and she survives him in Lima. Bill was a Pipefitter, a skilled tradesman working out of Local 776 of the (Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. He worked for Tilton Corp., Smith Boughan, and Bechtel Corp., and had worked at many different jobsites, among them; Procter and Gamble, Minster Machine, the Met Bank, the Lima Refinery, Cook Nuclear Plant, and many of the Department stores in Lima. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and was an MP, from 1956-1959. He loved to build things and to restore old things. He built 4 kit cars (2 dune buggies, a Bradley, and an MG), enjoyed model railroading, model building in general, having won awards for his exquisite work. He was an avid fisherman, camping and traveling much of the US. Bill was a past member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club, BPOE Elks Lodge 54, and was a proud member of Local 776. He received his 60- year award this year; it was a moment he was truly proud of. Throughout his years of employment, Bill was well respected as a Pipefitter, and as a friend.  One of his greatest moments was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. In addition to his wonderful wife Pat, whom he dearly loved, he is survived by his children; Cindy (Augustine) Tuma of Lima, Becky (Reed) Nutt, of Delphos, Wanda (Dan) Murphy of Bryan Texas, and William (Missy) Wetmore Jr. of Hebron, OH. Bill had 3 siblings; Kathy (Scott Kramer) Vermillion of Ada, George (Jill) Wetmore of Troy, and Rick (Jean) Wetmore of Lima.   • Robert Lee "Bob" Ludwig, 82, of Lima, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at his home.

    Bob was born Dec. 25, 1939, in Hancock County, to Paul and Bernice (Painter) Ludwig. Bob worked for Plumber and Pipefitters Union until his retirement and he was a member of the union for 55 years. After his retirement, he built Kala's Greenhouse where he was the owner and operator for 17 years. Bob was a member of Masonic Lodge # 804 in Mt. Cory and he was a life member of Moose Lodge # 199 in Lima. He enjoyed gardening, going for a nice drive, and he always kept busy and had a story to tell. Bob will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by three daughters, Debbie Meeks, Lonnie Ludwig, and Christina (Mario) Ludwig-Moralez; stepson, Edgar (Patty) Vallez; daughter-in-law, Cheri Ludwig; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Ludwig; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Ludwig. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg Ludwig; sister, Kay Eileen Bradigan; and two brothers, Russell Ludwig and Wayne Ludwig.   • James Douglas Hempker, age 76, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Friday November 11, 2022, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home after a brave and courageous battle with Mesothelioma. James was born September 7, 1946 in Lima, OH, to the late James M. and Virginia C. (Williams) Hempker. On August 8, 1970 he married his wife of 52 years, Cheryl (Riner) Hempker. James was a 1964 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served in the 9th Infantry and was awarded the National Defense Medal, Expert Rifle Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Service star and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. James retired in 2005 from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #776 after 37 years of service. James was an avid sportsman, enjoyed deer hunting and he especially loved spending time maintaining his property. Most of all, James was a proud husband, dad and grandpa who loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; three children, Jeffrey (Carol) Hempker of Cumming, GA, Jennifer (Craig) Shivley of Lima and James C. (Rebecca) Hempker of Troy; seven grandchildren, Jordan (Brittany) Hempker, Jacob (Destiny) Shivley, Benjamin Hempker, Jack Shivley, Elise Hempker, Emma Hempker, Matthew Hempker and one great-grandchild on the way; three sisters, Pam Hunt, Mary (Mike) Caprella, Wanda (Joe) Hornung, brother, Dennis Hempker and his best friend, Louie Treglia.   • Gary R. McKinley, age 70, passed away on February 9, 2023, at 4:03 pm, at his residence surrounded by his family. Gary was born May 24, 1952, in Macon, GA, to Harold "Jim" J. and Susan (Lee) McKinley who preceded him in death. Gary is survived by his fiance, Melissa A. Selby of Lima, OH, sons: Jaret (Brenda) McKinley of Delphos, OH and Jake (Lydia) McKinley of Lima, OH, 3 grandchildren: Corbin, Adelyn and Morgan, 2 brothers: Dewey (Kathy) McKinley and Greg (Darcey) McKinley and his fur baby, "Piper Sue". He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Paige, a brother, Jim McKinley and his previous wife, June V. (Kill) McKinley. Gary was a 1970 graduate of Spencerville High School. He had also attended Texas A & M University and the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Instructor Training. Gary had worked with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local # 776 from 1977 until he retired in 2013. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Eagles. Gary also belonged to ABATE. He loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, golfing, "Tuesday Nights" with his golfing buddies at Fat Jacks, spending time at the Waiting Room, poker runs and grilling. When he was younger he had coached little league baseball for his sons and his bother Greg. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and was a lifetime fan of the music of John Prine. He will be remembered as being a dedicated father and grandfather and was a very generous person that would help people out in a way that wouldn't bring attention to himself. There will be a Celebration of Life Motorcycle procession starting at 12 noon on April 15, 2023 leaving the Eagles in Delphos traveling to his final resting place in the Spencerville Cemetery for burial of cremated remains and military honors that will be performed by the VFW and the U.S. Army at 1:00 pm. Following the cemetery services there will be a time of gathering and meal back at the Eagles in Delphos.   • James (Jim) Paul Vogt of Dover, Indiana, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on the afternoon of March 31, 2023. He was 84 years old.
    Jim, fondly known as PoPo, was born to Edward and Mildred (nee McMullen) in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 15, 1939. He was a 1957 graduate of Elder High School, where he excelled on the gridiron for the Panthers. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving as a U.S. Army Paratrooper with Divisions of the 82nd, 101st, and 11th Airborne (Germany). Following his military service, he dedicated 37 years collectively as a proud Asbestos Workers and Pipefitters Union member.
    He was known as a free spirit with a penchant for learning languages, mainly German and Spanish, and was not shy about practicing with anyone who would listen. He was passionate about aviation and earned his private pilot's license while working full-time and raising a family. His reputation for being a skilled craftsman was unprecedented by his peers in the trades he worked in, and by the age of forty, he managed to build his first house with the help of his three sons and close friends working in various trades.
    Above all, he was a devoted husband to his childhood sweetheart, Marjory, a dedicated father, and a friend to many.
    He is survived by his wife Marjory (nee Buchert) of 60 years, and five children, Michael (Cindy), Mark (Shauna), Jimmy (Kim), Lori, Lisa (Tom), Grandfather of 12, and Great grandfather of 4.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. A private visitation will be held at Niedhard-Minges Funeral Home, followed by a private burial at St. Joe's Cemetery.

  • Raymond “Dale” Monce, born on January 27, 1947 of New Port Richey, Florida and Celina, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 in New Port Richey, Florida.  Raymond was predeceased in death by his parents, his two sons, Ronald and Raymond, and his dog, Jake. Raymond is survived by his grandsons, Jayson, Daniel and Ronald, his brother, Tom and his sister, Arlene, nieces and nephews, his daughter-in-law, Amy, and his Miss Vicki’s on the River Family. Dale is an Army Veteran and a retired welder and member of the Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service Technicians UA Local #776, Union in Lima, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held for Raymond at Miss Vicki’s on the River on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 6:00.
  • George D. Lino, age 86, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 24, 2023. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis; three children, Brian (Julie) Lino, Shalene (Scott) Germani, and Brooke (Shaun) Davis; as well as his sister, Colette (Jim) MacDonald. He had five loving grandchildren, Anthony (Alisha), Jamie, and Troy Lino, Drew and Reed Davis; and one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Lino. George was preceded in death by his parents, George Dominic and Catherine Agnes (Murphy) Lino; and his niece, Cathy Sue Branum. George was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Canyon City. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1955, serving for 3 years on the USS Diamond Head. Upon honorable discharge, he then enlisted in the US Army in 1958, serving his country for an additional 3 years. George's proudest memories were of his many jumps as a paratrooper – "Just say airborne!" and "Tuck and roll!" were phrases his kids heard anytime they faced life's challenges. George's experience in the service played a very important role in his life, igniting a love for travel and meeting people. If you knew George, you know he never met a stranger. Once you had looked him in the eye and shaken his hand, you were always referred to as "my good friend, so-and-so." He made it a point to stay in touch with many of those good friends over the years and especially enjoyed reunions with his veteran and high school friends. Though he was not one to use the internet, he was quite resourceful and enjoyed tracking down lost friends to reconnect. George married Phyllis A. Daniels in Denver on July 11, 1970. He began a new career as a deep-sea diver and underwater welder attending school in Long Beach, California then traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana to work in the oil fields. He next worked in Africa and later Roanoke, Virginia, and Troy, Ohio as a pipefitter/welder, before settling in Toledo in 1980. George was a proud member of Pipefitters Union #776 based out of Lima for many years – he still attended Union meetings until his passing and enjoyed marching in Labor Day Parades for many years. After retiring, George took up golf, achieving not one, but two holes-in-one. He also enjoyed bowling and reading non-fiction. His favorite topics included politics, the military, history, and the mafia. Services will be hosted at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., on Saturday, July 1.   • Michael P. Dorley, age 72 of Lima, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:27 p.m. at his residence. Mike was born December 5, 1950 in Lima to Patrick and Mary (McAuliffe) Dorley who preceded him in death. On November 21, 1970 he married Diane Clancy Dorley who preceded him in death on June 14, 2012. Survivors include their children: Dan (Michael) Dorley and Angie (Marc) Bowker both of Lima and Mike C. Dorley of Dayton; grandsons: Conner (Courtney) Bowker, Ethan Bowker and Kevin Bowker; and his siblings: Sheila Baldwin of Atlanta, GA, Trish (Joe) Edd of Charlotte, NC, Monica Dorley of Lima, Maureen Dorley of Rochester, NY, and a sister-in-law, Tania Dorley of Ottawa, Canada. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by their son, Doug A. Dorley, the following siblings, Anne M. Dorley, Tim Dorley, and a niece Mara Baldwin. Mike had been a pipefitter for Local #776 for 40 years. He was a 1969 graduate of L.C.C. High School. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He was a volunteer at St. Charles School cafeteria and St. Charles Church for the funeral luncheons. He had also been an usher at The Civic Center. His Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023 at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery following the service.   • Paul F. Robbins, age 85 of Lima, passed at 5:22 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health Care.  He was born August 24, 1938 in Bourne, MA to the late John David and Bessie Corinne Paine Robbins.  On September 25, 1960 he married Mary L. O’Donnell who survives in Lima. After graduating, Paul enlisted in the U.S. Marines and later served in the U.S. Army. He retired as a plumber and pipefitter from the Local Union 776 of Lima. Paul was an active member of the Lima Eagles and Elks. He had a hobby of collecting coins and enjoyed the occasional thrill of gambling.  Born in Massachusetts, he was a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly devoted to the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Bruins. He found joy in cheering for these teams and memorable moments with fellow fans. It’s important to note that Paul held a unique perspective when it came to what he liked. He was not a fan of the New England Patriots or J.J. and this playful difference added a touch for friendly rivalry to his interactions with family. The family held a special place in Paul’s heart, and he loved them dearly. His joy in life included taking trips to Buzzards Bay, MA and the Cape, creating treasured moments with his loved ones. Paul will be remembered for his dedication, love for family, and the joy he brought to others. He leaves behind a legacy of service, passion, and cherished memories. He is also survived by his 2 children – Paul A. (Sarah Renner) Robbins of Marrow, OH; Jacqueline S. (John) Strange of Cridersville; 5 grandchildren – Cierra, Makenzie, Samantha, Colton, and Penny; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers – John (Lorraine) Robbins of Seekonk, MA; Dennis (Claudine) Robbins of Buzzards Bay, MA; 2 sisters – Kathy Palomba of FL; and Ann Knocker. He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter – CeCe Harding; 2 brothers – George (Shirley) Robbins; Jason Robbins; 3 sisters – Virginia, Jeanne, and Shirley. A memorial service will begin 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2024 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Tom Miller will officiate. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.   • Warren Lee Rumer, 92, passed away peacefully at his home on November 11, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma Jean, as well as his “kids,” Emily (Jake) Stone, Bryce (Sarah) Goodrich, Hayley (Matthew) McKirahan, Ashleigh (Justin) Klinger-DePrekel and Cory (Tuyen) Klinger.  Warren was preceded in death by his son, Christopher.  Warren was the quiet force in a home that was full of love and excitement as the children grew up. He worked for several years as a pipe fitter.  Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
